Design

Based on HoneyWell SuperOne3206 FFP2 shape.

Modified for better fit to different face shapes.

Sealing

Inner neoprene strip to guarantee optimal seal and comfort in nose and chin area.

Filter

Exchangeable filter.

Filter cap mountable with click & go.

Inclined blades to reduce exposed intake area.

Material

Made in PLA.

Washable and reusable.

Limits usage of professional respirators dedicated to medical operators.

MAIN FEATURES

SHAPE

Designed from commercial certified mask Honeywell 3206 FFP2, it has been optimized for fit-on-chin to achieve  optimal fit on all face sizes and shapes

(Already tested on different face types).

SEALING

Neoprene thick strip guarantees perfect side sealing on all faces while keeping a good level of comfort. 

Back clip avoids ear pain and allows an adjustable level of tightness.

FILTER

Exchangeable filter (HEPA filters suggested).

Inclined intake blades deviate airflow enhancing filtration by diffusion.

Front projected open area (potential droplets entry) is virtually 0.

SUGGESTED SEALING

Material - Neoprene

Size - 10mm x 10mm

Type- Adhesive strip

Chin piece length = 14cm

Face piece length = 23.5 cm

HEAD STRINGS

Option 1 - Two elastic strings placed in the side slots

Option 2 - Single non elastic string placed in side holes. Suggested option that guarantees possibility to regulate tightening level.

STERILIZATION

Wipe with alcoholic solution (min. 70% alcohol) for at least 1 minute (the same you use to clean your hands).

This product does not guarantee complete protection against COVID-19 as its efficacy is strongly dependent on the filter used.

It has been created aiming to reduce the usage of professional respirators by the public as they shall be reserved for medical operators.

Many 3D printed masks around the web claim to have a big intake area (filter slot) in order to reduce pressure drop on it and increase filter efficacy. This is true when talking about professional certified respirators. But be careful! Most of the homemade filter you are using cannot be considered fully effective against COVID-19.

A 3D printed respirator shall be thought more as a shield (assuming the filter will not be a professional one). Therefore the smaller the intake area the better (still assuring proper breath-ability). If proper filters would be so common and available, there would be no need of printing a mask.
